Let me start by saying, I’m a huge fan of Gilt. What’s Gilt? If that question just popped into your head, then we need to talk.

Gilt is one of the hottest online sources for fashion, home, local and travel deals. Here’s how it works: You become a member (for free) and then log on daily to see what kind of amazing offers make their coveted screen.

The company started with fashion, bringing big names like Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors to fans at discounted prices. These reduced wares proved so popular, a guest needed to log on at the start of the sale just for the chance to find something in his or her size. Every morning is the morning after Thanksgiving at Gilt…thankfully minus the long lines and crowds.

Jetsetter is on of the more recent additions to the Gilt family. Here you’ll discover discounted rates at some of the finest hotels and resorts around the world, and many just the right distance for your next Real Weddings Mini-Moon.

Once I booked a weekend at the Parker in Palm Springs for nearly half the price. Mind you it was in summer and 110 degrees…but hey, it was the Parker…we made it work.

Like many other online sources for bargain bookings, they offer visitor reviews, photos and other basic info you might need to make your decision. As added bonus, they provide a few other editorial features, like “What We Love,” “What to Know,” “What to Do,” and Jetsetter review.
