As we start to wrap up this fleeting summer season, let’s take advantage of a picturesque summer evening on a serene mountain lake to enjoy splendid weather, fine food, great wine, some music you can groove to and give back to a notable cause here in our community.

Come to Lakeside Luxury, a charity event at Ice Lakes Lodge in Soda Springs, CA for Saturday, Sept. 19th, 4-9 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go to Shriners Hospital for Children, Sacramento. We are anxious to share the amazing lakeside views at Ice Lakes Lodge, complemented by an evening filled with elegant wines, delicious food, an eclectic silent auction, great music and dancing. This event is hosted by The Memory Journalists and Exquisite Events & Entertainment with sponsorship by Style Media Group.

This event will benefit children in need of services that only an amazing hospital like Shriners can offer: “Children up to the age of 18 with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate are eligible for admission and receive all care in a family-centered environment at no financial obligation to patients or families.” While many acknowledge such outstanding places exist, most don’t understand the importance of such a first rate hospital unless they are in a situation that forces them to utilize such services. Let’s make sure that this generosity continues to support children and families in need.

Ice Lakes Lodge has been generous enough to offer a discount on rooms for this event, available at $139 + tax.
