We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, we are so incredibly fortunate to work with some very talented wedding professionals. And, for our recent cover model finalist photo shoot (shot on location at The Greens Hotel by the the talented husband and wife photography duo, Geoff and Lisa Bardot from The Goodness), we asked five of our Real Weddings Magazine Partner floral designers to do their magic by creating some bouquets for us…and as always, we were completely smitten with their gorgeous florals.

Real Weddings Cover Model Contest Photo Shoot: Behind the Scenes
Have you seen Real Weddings Magazine‘s cover model contest photo shoot featuring Kristy Johnson, Kaboo Vang and Lynn Holmes in the Summer/Fall 2012 issue yet (If not, you can view it here!)?
Back in March, our three gorgeous real brides got to play dress up all day long as our Real Weddings team poked and prodded these girls at a photo shoot at The Greens Hotel in Sacramento. Featuring local gowns, local floral designers, local hair and make-up teams, fabulous accessories, and the talented husband and wife photography duo, Geoff and Lisa Bardot from The Goodness, the shoot was just amazing!
We could never pull off such a fabulous photo shoot without the hard working efforts of our dedicated team! Whether it’s steam dresses until their fingers prune, clamping dresses until their hands cramp in agony, laying in the dirt to protect a gown or burying themselves under massive amounts of tulle just to help a bride with her shoes, they’ll do just about anything to get that great shot! We hope you agree that the end result is spectacular, but it’s always fun to see what goes on “behind the scenes.”

Real Weddings Dazzling Dresses: Mori Lee
Happy Thursday, beautiful Real Weddings Brides! One more day until another glorious weekend. Let’s get the good times rolling with an ample dose of pretty courtesy of bridal designer Mori Lee and our friends at Alma’s Bridal Boutique in Lincoln.

Grace Kelly anyone? This romantic strapless bridal gown features with a ball gown skirt with embroidered lace on netting. With a lovely sweetheart neckline, the dress also offers covered buttons on the back, a pretty sash with flower on the waist and a tie bow with long streamers that flow to the train. The embroidered, beaded lace appliqués are scattered all over. Available in three length options and offered in Ivory/Champagne, Ivory or White.

Night and Day. You get two sashes with this lace gown—one matching the dress color and one in bold black. Embroidered with beautiful lace, the strapless neckline is gently curved and edged with beading. The lace-up back allows you to adjust the fit. There’s ruching across the bodice and diagonally through the hips with beaded detail on one hip. The A-line skirt and train features a sash that ties in back and comes with a flower to match the dress color. This gown is offered in three length options.
