Tell us a little about you and your beloved: Dave and I first met back in high school and dated for several years. We even attended my Junior and Senior proms together, and the photos were displayed at our wedding. After being apart for 14 years, we were reconnected by the same friend, Andrea, who set us up back in high school. Then on October 15, 2010, 17 years after Dave and I first met, I married my high school sweetheart! Today, it seems like we were never apart!
What was the most amazing part of your day? The most amazing part of the day was seeing my groom waiting for me at the end of the aisle. Then, of course, saying our vows and being introduced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Chichizola!
What else would you like to share about your big day? We had a lot of special and sentimental details included in our big day. My favorite was having my mother-in-law embroider the names of the family members from both my family and my husband’s family who had passed away. It was a great way to have them included in our special day!

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? The best advice I received was a few weeks before the wedding. A friend told me that no matter what, the day would be beautiful and if everything didn’t go as planned that most likely no one else would know. It was true….some details fell through the cracks, but none of our guests even realized it.
Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance? I would have reserved more time for photos with my groom and family.

Congratulations to Scribner Bend Vineyards!
Congratulations to Real Weddings Magazine partner, Scribner Bend Vineyards, for winning two silver medals at the San Francisco International Wine Competition – the largest wine competition in America!
Scribner Bend Vineyards entered two wines in the San Francisco International Wine Competition and won Silver medals for both their 2007 Tempranillo and their 2009 Fiano.
There were about 1,290 wineries that entered the competition with more than 4,913 wine selections. These wineries came from all over the world to compete — wines from 23 states and 27 countries!
Congratulations again to Scribner Bend Vineyards for winning medals in one of the nation’s most respected wine competitions!
Not only is Scribner Bend Vineyards a premier wedding venue in the Sacramento region, but they’re a premier wine producer in the region!
Now, the real question…when can we stop by for a taste test?

Eye Candy Blog Series: The NACE Tabletop Design Contest: Scribner Bend Vineyards Entry
Welcome back to the Eye Candy Blog Series and our fifth installment from the NACE Tabletop Design Contest.
To bring you up to speed…recently, the Sacramento chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) held its second annual tabletop design contest hosted at Sun City Roseville’s Timber Creek Ballroom.
Like last year’s event, these amazingly talented wedding professionals put their creative hats on and came up with some exceptionally interesting and unique tablescapes. Once again, we’re honored to showcase these professionals’ designs in the pages (print and online here!) of Real Weddings Magazine!
