Wish Upon A Wedding’s First Granted Wish!
I gotta tell you, I LOVE (yes, that’s with all caps!) Wish Upon a Wedding!
Have you heard about this organization yet? We mentioned it on our blog before, but in case you’re just tuning in, here’s the scoop on this spectacular organization (from their Web site):
“As America’s only wedding wish granting organization, Wish Upon a Wedding produces weddings and civil union ceremonies at destinations across the United States for individuals facing life-threatening illness.
By celebrating the courage and spirit of these couples, it is our hope that others facing similar situations will find hope, strength, and the promise of eternal love.
Officially launched in January of 2010, Wish Upon a Wedding currently has 15 chapters to serve Wish Applicants. Couples residing in or wishing to get married within 300 miles of any one of our chapter locations. If you reside in another area, we still encourage you to stay connected as new chapters open regularly.
We are rallying our team of Wish Granters across the United States! If you would like to be a part of our Wish Granting Team {or know someone who would} please submit a Wish Granter application.
To qualify for Wishes, applicants must be unmarried legal citizens of the United States, over the age of 18, who have been diagnosed with less than three years to live.
